Me
Who I am
I’m Theo. I’m a multidisciplinary creative, specialising in work with a focus on motion and illustration.
Although I’ve worked with a whole host of companies over the last 10 years (including New Scientist, Virgin Media, Dash Water, Plusnet, and Volvo), I’ve spent most of my time working across the full range of apps and products made by Meta, such as Facebook and Instagram.
Design, to me, is problem-solving. I take great satisfaction in breaking down a brief into hypothetical puzzle pieces, and working out how to build something complete and beautiful from those component parts.
What makes me happy
Above all else, my family and friends are my biggest source of happiness and comfort. I like to laugh – and these guys bring me constant joy.
Music is very important to me – both listening to it and playing it. I also love video games, and adore getting lost in an imagined world for a few hours after everyone is asleep. I am trying to make a game myself, it is really hard.
I like to travel and take photos, capturing moments of beauty in everyday life. I have an archive of photos I don’t quite know what to do with yet.
Relaxation, for me, is cooking and eating food – with an emphasis on the eating. But spending a Sunday afternoon slow-cooking a ragu is my idea of bliss.
